Major Art Sculpture Exhibit Attracts People From All Thoughout New England

Celebrating The Art of Sculpture 2015 is a major exhibition that features 26 sculptures from18 artists.

Celebrating The Art of Sculpture 2015, a major exhibition presenting 26 sculptures from 18 artists, is being held outdoors at the Peabody Institute Library of Danvers at 15 Sylvan St., Danvers, Mass.

The exhibit runs through September 11, and is sponsored by the library and curated by Michael Guadagno, sculptor and president of the Barn Workshop Gallery, also of Danvers.

“This is our third annual exhibit and it features artists from all over New England,” said Alan Thibeault, Library Director in a statement. “We are bringing sculpture into the community in a way that it can be enjoyed by everyone. In the past two years, people have come to Danvers from all over the North Shore and points beyond.”

Artists in the exhibit include: Michael Alfano, Thomas Berger, Whitmore Boogaerts, Gilbert Boro, Jeffrey Briggs, Lindley Briggs, Kevin Donegan, Hugh Gibbons, Michael Guadagno, Michael Hansel, David Millen, Morris Norvin, James Rappa, Antoinette Schultze, David Skora, John Weidman, Melanie Zibit, and Glenn Zweygardt.
