Man Charged with Sex Trafficking of Arlington Teen
The Providence man was arrested Tuesday, Aug. 26.

A 34-year-old Providence man allegedly took a 17-year-old Arlington girl against her will from Boston’s South Station in the early morning hours of Monday, Aug. 18, and drove her to Rhode Island for the purpose of prostituting her.
Kemont Bowie was arrested Tuesday, Aug. 26, by FBI agents and Pawtucket and Central Falls (Rhode Island) Police, according to U.S. Attorney Peter F. Neronha, of Rhode Island. He is facing federal charges, one count of sex trafficking of a child and transportation of a minor, according to authorities. He is due back in court Sept. 2.
Bowie was arrested at a Pawtucket, Rhode Island, residence after the girl called the residence she had been staying at in Arlington on Monday, Aug. 25, authorities said.

The girl was located at the residence and was rescued, authorities said.
