Where are Massachusetts’ best private high schools?

A new list compiled by Niche.com, an information service provider, ranks the state’s best private high schools. Below is the list of the top 100, which are scattered across the state.

Phillips Academy in Andover was ranked as the top private school in the entire country. The Groton School was ranked as the seventh-best private high school in the country, and the Roxbury Latin School was ranked 13th.

According to Niche.com, the ranking is “based on statistics, student and parent reviews, and expert insights. Ranking factors include SAT/ACT scores, the quality of colleges that students consider, student-teacher ratio, student and parent reviews, and more.”
