New Arlington Bar Opens On Mass. Ave.
Town Tavern replaced a 16-year-old East Arlington eatery.
ARLINGTON, MA – An Italian eatery is out in East Arlington after 16 years, and a new restaurant and bar has taken its place. Town Tavern is now open in the former Ristorante Olivio site on Massachusetts Avenue, according to the bar's Facebook page.
The restaurant started offering dinner service Sept. 7, with lunch coming soon. Its food menu offers pub staples like wings, burgers and sandwiches, as well as more outside the box fare like chicken bao, dumplings and ratatouille. Drinks include cocktails, red and white wines and foreign, domestic and local beers.
Documents previously cited by YourArlington indicated Town Tavern would have space for 120 people. The restaurant's address is 201 Massachusetts Ave.
