New Italian Restaurant in works for Arlington Heights
An application for a new Italian eatery will go before the Arlington Board of Selectmen on July 18.

ARLINGTON, MA—A new Italian restaurant is in the works for an Arlington Heights location, as the Arlington Board of Selectmen will review its application during its next meeting.

Angelo Carbini, the owner of the proposed Nina Trattoria & Pizzeria, has applied for a common victualler's license to open up shop at 1510 Massachusetts Ave, according to the application. in Arlington Heights. The Board of Selectmen will review the application during its July 18 meeting.
1510 Massachusetts Ave. is currently occupied by Jimmy's Pizzeria. According to the application, Carbini hopes to be opening in August or September.

The application indicates that the proposed eatery will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and until 10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. There will be 19 seats in the restaurant.
Carbini indicated in the application that he currently works for Florentine Cafe in Boston's North End. Carbini also indicated that he is not seeking a liquor license right away.
The menu consists of a more authentic style of cuisine, including Antipasta dishes such as Prosciutto di Parma e pera; containing prosciutto, honey roasted pear and mascarpone mousse; Prosciutto-wrapped melon and Broccoli rabe with italian sausage.
In addition, the menu features a variety of pasta, rissotto, and pizza offerings.
Carbini was not immediately available for comment.
