Arlington resident Alejandro Barrientos, who was born in Veracruz, Mexico, is behind the new eatery. He owns the original La Victoria Taqueria at 6 Wallis St. in Beverly that boasts an impressive 4.5 rating on Yelp.
Barrientos owned Cielito Lindo Cocina Mexicana in Beverly as well. However, he closed the restaurant in August after an eight-year run as he was unable to come to a lease agreement at the location.
