New Restaurant Moving Into Former Sabatino's Space In Arlington

The Mass. Ave. restaurant closed in 2016 following a heating oil spill.

ARLINGTON, MA – A new restaurant is moving into the former Sabatino's Italian Kitchen space in Arlington. According to a post on The Arlington List Facebook group, a sign has been put up at 242 Massachusetts Ave. for Luigi's Italian Kitchen.

Boston Restaurant Talk confirmed via Bizapedia that the restaurant will open at that address.

Sabatino's closed its Arlington location in 2016 after a heating oil spill and burst pipe caused structural damage to the space. Last year, the company settled with a group of employees from its Arlington, Brighton and Quincy locations who sued for wage theft.
