No, Jimmy's in Arlington Is Not Closing

If you’re tapped into the Arlington rumor mill, you may have heard recently that Jimmy’s Steer House at 1111 Mass. Ave. is closing.

Well, this rumor is unequivocally false, the restaurant’s president, Mark Miminos, said Thursday.

“We’ve heard these rumors too, and the rumors are false,” he said. “You know, rumors start, and they just keep going.”

Jimmy’s, an Arlington institution and meeting place known for its affordable options, opened in 1973. Jimmy’s has one other location at 114 Broadway in Saugus.
