OBITUARY: Bernice M. (Birard) Nigro, 90, of Arlington

ARLINGTON, MA — Bernice M. (Birard) Nigro of Arlington passed away on September 10. She was the teloved wife of the late Dominic Nigro. Mother of Neal Nigro, Joseph Nigro and the late Jane (Nigro) Tammaro who died November 18,2003 and her husband Leonard of Raynham. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Born in Whitefield, NH on September 29,1925 to the late Alice and Hubert Birard. She graduated from Lesley University and dedicated many years to her community as the assistant coordinator at the Arlington Senior Center, as a hostess at the Jefferson Cutter House, and as a member of the Arlington Historical Society.

Funeral from The DeVito Funeral Home 1145 Mass Avenue in Arlington on Wednesday morning at 9:00 followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 in St. Agnes Church 51 Medford Street, Arlington.
