Daley died Saturday, Nov. 8. He was 85.

Edward F. Daley Jr., a retired Arlington Police Officer, formerly of Arlington and Yarmouth, died on his 85th birthday, Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014.
Edward is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served during the Korean War. He is a Past Exalted Ruler of the Hyannis Elks, a member of the Arlington Elks, a Past Grand Knight of the Hyannis and Arlington Knights of Columbus, a life member of the American Legion and a founding member of the Irish American Club of Arlington.

Beloved husband of 61 years to Joan (Giles) Daley. Loving father of Donna Miliano and husband Joseph of Woburn, Denise Daley and husband Phuoc Truong of Randolph, Diane Alba of Winthrop and Robert Daley of Randolph. Brother of Roberta MacDonald, the late William Daley, Eleanor Clarke and Lois Reiss. Grandfather of Laura Rogers, Russell Alba, Katharine and Joanne Miliano and the late Kimberly Rojas. Also survived by one great granddaughter, Addison Grace Heavern, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., Route 60, Arlington, on Wednesday, 4-8 p.m., and his funeral service in the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m, followed by burial at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Arlington.
