James A. Reid Sr., of Arlington, died suddenly on Thursday, April 24, 2014.
Beloved father of Sarah Reid of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and James A. Reid Jr. of Malden. Loving son of Mary E. Kane (Nicholl) and the late Kenneth S. Reid Sr. Former husband of Judith A. Reid (Tildsley) of Malden. Dear brother of Laura Kenney of Haverhill and Kenneth Reid of Salem.
A Master Electrician who enjoyed the simple things in life, Jim had a passion for cooking, long conversations and caring for the closest people in his life. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Late Army Veteran.
Visiting hours will be held from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., Route 60 (adjacent to St. Agnes Church), ARLINGTON, on Saturday, May 3, from 2-4 p.m. A memorial service and military honors at will immediately follow at 4 p.m. Interment will be private. Relatives and friends invited.
