Obituary: Jane Yewcic, Longtime Arlington School Nurse

Jane (Cvrkel) Yewcic, of Arlington, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014.

Beloved wife of Thomas Yewcic. Loving mother of Tom and his wife Phyllis of Stoneham and Carol Hearn and her husband Thomas of Wakefield. Devoted grandma to Thomas, Julia and Janelle. Sister of Joe Cvrkel and his wife Dorothy, Ed Cvrkel and his wife Donna, Carol Stager and her husband Jim, William Cvrkel, and the late Susan Lech, Irene Cernak, Helen Gagan, Mary Bomba and John Cvrkel.

Jane is a graduate of Mercy Nursing Program in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and retired from nursing in the Arlington School System for over 30 years.

Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., Route 60 (adjacent to St. Agnes Church), ARLINGTON, on Thursday at 10 a.m. Funeral mass will be held at Saint Eulalia’s Church in Winchester at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Wednesday, 4-8 p.m. Burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington.
