Obituary: John F. Carroll, Retired Arlington Police Chief

John F. Carroll, Retired Chief of the Arlington Police Department, died January 29.

Beloved husband of the late Shirley A. (Cram) Carroll. Father of Eileen Vardag and husband Tarik of Germany, Kathy Pittman and husband Richard of Tampa, FL, Paul Carroll and wife Ann of Sherborn. Grandfather of Allyson, Sanam, Jourdan, Jaclyn, Shirin, Paige, Daniel and the late Kalim. Brother of Mary Rita Coughlin, Daniel, Joan DeLuca, Linda Collins, Gerald and the late Edward, James, William and Richard Carroll. Also survived many in laws, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Wednesday 4:00 to 8:00pm in The DeVito-O’Donnell Funeral Home 1145 Mass Avenue ARLINGTON and to a funeral mass at 10:00am(please meet directly at church) in St. Eulalia Church, Winchester.
