Obituary: Karen Sheehan, 50, of Arlington

Karen A. (Dempsey) Sheehan, of Arlington, died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2014, at the age of 50.

Beloved daughter of Joanne Dempsey (Caissie) of Arlington and the late Frank Dempsey III. Loving sister of Michael Dempsey and his wife Kathleen of Billerica, Linda Gendall and her husband John of Stoneham and Joanne Dempsey of Arlington. Cherished aunt of Brian, Amber, Samantha, Jamie, Michael and Madison, and “Auntie” of Lillianna. Former wife of Edward Sheehan of Arlington. Also survived by many devoted friends and family.

Karen was the proud former owner of Coop Hair Styling in Cambridge.

Arrangements from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., Route 60 (adjacent to St. Agnes Church), ARLINGTON. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7:30 p.m. A memorial prayer service will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Relatives and friends invited.
