Loving son of the late James M. and Susan (O’Leary) Murphy. Loving brother of James M., Mary J. and the late Joseph P. Murphy. Loving uncle of James, Marie, Patricia, Jean, Donna, Brendan, Patrick and Joseph. Loving father-in-law to Mary Ruberti Michenzie and Ryan M. Girard. Loving brother-in-law of Ann Murphy and Jean Murphy.

Visiting hours in The DeVito-O’Donnell Funeral Home, 1145 Mass. Ave., ARLINGTON, Thursday, 4-8 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at 11 a.m. in St. Brendan’s Church, DORCHESTER. Interment following the mass at Milton Cemetery. Graduate of Catholic Memorial High School, Boston College and Suffolk Law School, 1st Lt. U.S. Marine Corps and recipient of the Bronze Star with Valor.
