Obituary: Paul Doherty, of Arlington

Paul J. Doherty, of Arlington, died Friday, Oct. 31, 2014.

Beloved husband of Frances M. (Maney). Loving father of Colleen Synan and her husband Paul and PJ Doherty, all of Townsend. Devoted grandfather of Colin and Maya. Brother of Edward J. Doherty of Melrose, Mary T. Doherty of Vermont and Carol A. Doherty of Chelmsford. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

Paul was former Executive Board Member of the Cambridge Council Boys Scouts of America and former Assistant Camp Director of Camp Quinapoxet. Late Air Force veteran.

Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., Route 60 (adjacent to St. Agnes Church), ARLINGTON, on Wednesday at 9 a.m. Funeral mass will be held at Saint Agnes Church in Arlington at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tuesday, 4-8 p.m. Burial in Cambridge Cemetery.
