Parent Discovers Naked Man in Child's Bed

Friday, December 10

12:57 p.m.: Officers arrived at 10 Mill St. after residents discovered their motor vehicle had been broken into during the morning. The car was unlocked. A bag was stolen over $150, along with credit cards and ATM cards. Police are investigating the incident.

2:05 p.m.: Officers were called to the scene at 329 Washington St. after a resident discovered someone had used her credit cards at newegg.com for over $1000. Police are investigating the matter.

Sunday, December 12

7:15 a.m.: Officers arrived at 45 Bates Road to investigate a motor vehicle break in $30 in loose change was missing. Police are investigating the matter.

12:29 p.m.: Officers arrived to 256 Pleasant St. after residents discovered a naked man sleeping in one of their bedrooms. The wife left home to pick up her children without telling the husband. The husband heard noises downstairs and assumed it was his wife. When the wife returned she discovered that the kitchen window had been smashed. The husband then discovered a naked men sleeping in his children's bunk bed. Apparently the man had tried swimming across the Route 2 path to Spy Pond Island. He said he felt cold so he came back. He took his clothes off at the embankment on Route 2 and made his way to the Pleasant Street home. The suspect claimed to have no recollection of the event. He is being charged with destruction of property, breaking and entering and attempting to commit a crime.
