ARLINGTON, MA — Sunday night word on the street was that the leaders of the local governing body of the Greek Orthodox church will be at a vespers at St. Athanasius the Great.
"This will be his first time at the church since Father Nick was relieved of his duties. Parishioners are planning to peacefully welcome His Eminence tonight from 6:00 to 6:30 pm by standing outside the parish," read the invitation on social media.
"We will all be outside of the church tonight at 6:30 showing them that we are still in unity as a parish," said one member of the community in an email to Patch.
