Pedestrian Hit,Several Crashes & Overdose: Arlington Police Logs
Here's what the Arlington Police responded to in the past week.

ARLINGTON, MA — The following is a sample of the types of calls the Arlington Police received over the weekend. Just because someone reported an incident a certain way doesn't mean that's the way it actually panned out.
Tuesday, Dec. 19
Don't drive without a licence: Police responded to a report of an accident and then cited someone for driving without a licence at 3:11 p.m. on Mass Ave.
Dogs: Someone complained about a dog on Willow Court and a report was filed.

Death: Someone reported a death at Symmes Circle at 5:39 p.m.
Wednesday, Dec. 20
Bike stop: Police noted they pulled someone over near the corner of Mass Ave and Water Street at 2:55 p.m.

Break in: Police responded to a report that someone broke into a boat or other vehicle at 12:10 p.m. on Mass Ave.
Warrant Arrest: Police arrested someone near the corner of Hayes Street and Mystic Valley Parkway at 12:32 p.m. on a court warrant for being a fugitive from justice.
Assault: Police responded to a report of a neighbor problem on Paul Revere Road at 5:21 p.m. and ended up writing up a report about an assault and battery on that same street at the same time.
Fire: Police responded to a report of a fire near Hurd Field on Drake Road and were working on an investigation at 10:24 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 21
Water leak: Police responded to a report of a water leak on Colonial Drive at Lake Street at 4:31 p.m.
Identity fraud: Police responded to Newport Street for a report of ID theft, and then wrote up a report at 2:01 p.m. on Identity Fraud on that same street. (see map below)
Disturbing: Someone reported a disturbance at 9:31 p.m. on Hillside Avenue.
Friday, Dec. 22
Crash: Police responded to a crash near the Winchester Savings Bank on Medford Street at 7:32 a.m. There was at least one injury reported.
Another one: Police went to Clark Street and Mass Ave for a report of another water leak, this one at noon. And then at 8 p.m. someone else reported a water leak near Blue Ribbon on Mass Ave.
Death: Someone reported a sudden death on Reed Street at 11:12 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 23
Crash: Police responded to a report of a crash on Appleton Street and found that someone had left the scene of property damage, and wrote up a report on that at 9:45 a.m.
Larceny: Someone reported a larceny of something less than $250 on Wall Street at 11:06 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 24
Pedestrian hit: Someone reported a pedestrian was struck by a car on Thorndike Street at 3:57 p.m.
Crashes: There were two other crashes that police responded to, including one near the corner of Park Ave and Paul Revere at 1:15 a.m., on on Hancock Street without injuries at 6:37 a.m.
Monday, Dec. 25
Too late for it to be Santa: Someone reported a suspicious motor vehicle at 12:31 p.m. on Robbins Road near Spring Ave.
Hit and Run: Someone reported a hit and run on Old Colony Road at 5:16 p.m.
Oops: Someone reported they were locked out of their third floor apartment on Drake Road.
Tuesday, Dec. 26
Harassment: Police wrote up a report regarding a violation of a harassment prevention order on Paul Revere Road.
Larceny: Someone reported a larceny on Paul Revere road at a construction site around 2:30 p.m. (see map below)
Overdose: Someone on Lowell Street called to report a possible overdose at 9:34 p.m.
