Woman Hospitalized After Being Hit By Car In Arlington
Police said the woman was struck at Mass. Ave. and Medford Street Wednesday night.

ARLINGTON, MA – A woman was hospitalized after being hit by a car in Arlington Wednesday night. She was struck while crossing Massachusetts Avenue at Medford Street around 7:30 p.m., police said.
Police identified the woman as a 43-year-old Arlington resident. She was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver, a 63-year-old Somerville man, remained at the scene and cooperated with officers, according to police. He was not injured.

Traffic was temporarily diverted on the eastbound side of Massachusetts Avenue Wednesday night, and one lane on the westbound side was closed while police investigated.
