Peter Flanagan, Former Arlington Resident, Dies at 63

Peter Flanagan, 63, of Wellfleet, formerly of Arlington, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014.

Peter was the loved son of Howard F. and Irene M. (Boland) Flanagan and brother of David Flanagan and his wife Katherine of Hingham, Paul Flanagan and his wife Mary of Westford, J. Patrick Flanagan of Wellfleet and Michael and his wife Nancy of Wellfleet. Peter also leaves behind his cherished nieces and nephews: David, Mary Kate, Sean, Lisa, Lauren, Brian, Keith, Thomas and Katie Mae, as well as many other great-nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held at Nickerson Funeral Home, 340 Main St., Wellfleet, on Sunday, Jan. 5, from 4-8 p.m. A funeral mass will take place at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, 137 Fresh Brook Lane, Wellfleet, on Monday, Jan. 6, at 11:15 a.m. Burial will be private.
