Politics and Wine

With less than a month until this , candidates are hitting the campaign trail hard around town.  This past weekend voters, politicians and town office hopefuls came out to for a “Meet the Candidates” wine-tasting event. In stark contrast to the rapid-fire exchanges customary at a debate, candidates and voters mingled and discussed the issues over a spread of wine, cheese and Tom Petty tunes. Check out scenes from the event in our gallery below.

Menotomy Beer and Wine will host the second next Saturday. Voters will be able to meet the remaining candidates running for the , and  position.
