Public Hearing on Arlington’s Main Intersection Tonight
The Mass. Ave. Corridor Project isn't the only road reconstruction planned in town.

Today is Tuesday, April 23. Here are five things you need to know.
1.) From the town: Public Hearing on Arlington Center Safe Travel Project Tonight: A design public hearing will be held by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation to discuss the proposed safety and mobility improvements at Mass. Ave., Pleasant Street and Mystic Street. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. tonight at Town Hall.
The purpose of this hearing is to provide the public with the opportunity to become fully acquainted with the proposed intersection modifications.

The proposed project will consist of reconstructing the intersection and providing a connection for the Minuteman Bikeway through the intersection.
The project will incorporate designated roadway facilities for cyclists as well as traffic signal and pavement marking improvements for vehicles and pedestrians. For more information, visit www.arlingtonma.gov/dpwprojects.
