RCN Boston Supports Bridge Over Troubled Waters To Help At-Risk Youth
RCN Boston today announced Bridge Over Trouble Waters

RCN Boston, a leading provider of Internet, digital TV and phone services, announced today that its 3rd annual golf tournament raised more than $14,500 for Bridge Over Troubled Waters, a nonprofit that provides services for homeless and struggling youth at the most defining time in their lives. Funds raised also help support Bridge’s Street Outreach and the Mobile Medical Van, Counseling, Education and Career Development, Drop-In Center, Emergency and Transitional Residences and the Warming Center. After the tournament, golfers heard from Jessica, a Bridge youth whose life turned around with the help of the organization.
“The funds we raised at this golf tournament go to Bridge, an organization that has a direct impact on the at risk youth of Boston.” said Jeff Carlson, VP and General Manager, RCN Boston. “This organization is so important to the future of Boston. Bridge has the power to transform lives, and it is up to us to help them do it.”
The RCN Golf Tournament was held on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Sandy Burr Country Club in Wayland, Massachusetts.

“Without the support we get from RCN, the work we do would have to be limited by our budget,” said Elisabeth Jackson, Executive Director of Bridge Over Troubled Waters. “We are so grateful for what they have given us over the years so we can keep doing our job – helping at-risk children find their way to a successful adulthood.”
Since 1970, Bridge has served more than 100,000 youth in the greater Boston area.
