Restaurant Opens In Former Sabatino's Space In Arlington

The Mass. Ave. restaurant closed two years ago after a heating oil spill and burst pipe damaged the space.

ARLINGTON, MA – A new restaurant is now open in the former Sabatino's Italian Kitchen space in Arlington. Luigi's Italian Kitchen has moved into 242 Massachusetts Ave., according to Boston Restaurant Talk, which confirmed with a source and a check on the location.

Sabatino's closed its Arlington restaurant in 2016 after a heating oil spill and burst pipe caused structural damage to the space. Last year, the company settled with a group of employees from its Arlington, Brighton and Quincy locations who sued for wage theft.

Luigi's Italian Kitchen does not yet have a website or online menu.
