Storm Damage, Car Break In, Dog Bite: Arlington Police Logs

Some 20 calls came in related to the storm Friday.

ARLINGTON, MA — This weekend police responded to at least 16 reports of trees being down and eight reports of wires being down on account of that historic Friday storm. The only report of a traffic signal being out was the one at Bates and Broadway and one at Spy Pond Parkway, according to the police logs.

Outside storm damage patrol, police responded to a report of a dog bite on Appleton Street, an attempt to commit a crime by someone on Decautur Street. Then on Saturday someone was reported for destruction of property worth more than $250 on Williams Street around 9:34 p.m. and the following day something similar was reported around 10 a.m. on Milton Road.

And a car was reportedly broken into on Memorial Way on Sunday.
