Join ACA for this fun and creative painting show - perfect for the winter season. The center is now accepting submissions.

Arlington Center for the Arts is now accepting submissions for their new painting show - “Darkness Into Light: Paintings Juried by Jill Pottle”! Submit through the end of this week (Jan 15) during ACA’s regular office hours (9am - 6pm) for the chance to be selected for this fun and creative gallery show!
Paintings will be selected by their originality of subject matter addressing the return of the light. Subject matter can include realistic still life, landscape or portrait, or abstractions. The artworks should be expressive, energetic, bright colors, juicy paint and high contrast. “Darkness Into Light” is a celebration of the winter with high hopes of more sun, warmth and welcoming us back into spring.
Submit up to 3 works – the primary medium must be paint, not mixed media. Submit for the chance to win one $150 Best in Show award or one of two $75 Juror’s Choice awards.
