On Sunday, June 20, the Friends of Minute Man National Park and the New England Mountain Bike Association are inviting Arlington families (and beyond) to peddle through history.
The ride starts at 10 a.m. and includes a portion through the rural dirt path that meanders through Lexington, Lincoln and Concord.
"The ride will be appropriate for any child who can ride on two-wheels without assistance for an hour," according to the release. "Younger riders will ride for three miles with frequent stops at various historic sites, including the Hartwell Tavern where they will have snacksand water and hear a bit of history from Park staff. Older kids will stop at the Tavern and continue on to the end of the Battle Road at Meriam's Corner, riding a total of 8 miles."

All participants must come equipped with a bicycle in good working order and a helmet.
