Superintendent to Make Special Education Proposal at School Committee Tonight

Kathleen Bodie proposal to involve special education leadership structure at Arlington Public Schools.

Superintendent Kathleen Bodie is expected to make a proposal regarding special education at Thursday's meeting.

According to the meeting agenda, Bodie is scheduled to make two recommendations to the full committee, beginning at 8:15 p.m.: approval of job descriptions and structure for leadership of special education. The recommendations are alloted 20 minutes combined.

Thursday's School Committee meeting will take place at Arlington High School's sixth-floor meeting room, starting at 6:30 p.m. It will also be broadcast by public access channel ACMi on television and online.
