Support Arlington Center Organizing "Cash Mob" at Artful Heart

ARLINGTON, MA — The neighborhood group Support Arlington Center is organizing an event to support a local business which recently re-located from Broadway to Medford Street.

The organization announced that a "cash mob" would be held at Artful Heart, a local business which sells a variety of pottery, jewelry and other locally-made products. The "cash mob" aims to "celebrate this new location by bringing the community together and "mobbing" the store" with business and support, according to the Support Arlington Center website.

The group described a "cash mob" as a group of people who "mob" a selected local business and show the community's support. The Arlington Advocate reports that a landlord dispute forced Artful Heart to move away from its Broadway location.

The cash mob will begin at 2 p.m., and the group is organizing a "happy hour" at Common Ground following the event.
