Taylor Second in Age Group at Falmouth Road Race
Recent Arlington High distance runner one of 48 residents in the race.

Recent Arlington High School standout Antony Taylor finished second in his age group Sunday at the prestigious Falmouth Road Race on Cape Cod.
Overall, 48 Arlington residents completed the scenic 7.1-mile trek from Woods Hole to Falmouth Heights.
The 18-year-old Taylor, who will run for the University of Massachusetts at Amherst this fall, placed second, in 39 minutes 54 seconds, roughly 5:37-mile pace, behind Acton's Teddy Farley, also 18.

Taylor finished 64th overall, 53rd among men. As a high school senior this past winter, Taylor won the 2 mile at the Division II indoor meet in 9:19.
Ethiopia's Gebre Gebremariam, 25, bested the field of about 10,000 runners in 32:20, while 23-year-old Wude Ayalew, also from Ethiopia, won the women's race in 35:46.

Michael McCrane, 40, was Arlington's second finisher in 40:56. He placed 79th overall, 63rd among men. Seaghan McKay, 38, placed third among residents in 44:54.
On the women's side, Arlington's Julie Moynihan, 34, led the way, placing 237th for women in 54:21. Following her was resident Wynne Meyer, 30, who ran 55:25 and finished 308th among women.
Jessica Carmona, 28, was Arlington's third female finisher in 57:45, putting her 535th among women.
Arlington's youngest competitor was 13-year-old Grace McKay, who finished the course in 1 hour, 16 minutes and 20 seconds.
