Teen Cited In Arlington Rollover

ARLINGTON, MA — A 17-year-old girl was cited in a rollover crash in the Heights Sunday. The teen was injured when her 2005 Subaru Forester rolled over at Mass. Ave. and Park Avenue around 9:30 p.m.

She told police she was driving about 30 mph in a 25 mph zone, while a witness said she was going faster, YourArlington reported. The car was heading north on Park when the driver hit her brakes, causing the car to veer in the southbound lane before returning to the northbound side, striking a curb and rolling over.

The driver was issued citations for negligent operation of motor vehicle, a marked lanes violation and speeding, YourArlington reported.
