Today, Yet Another Step in Resolving Special Education Issues
Parents to meet with Superintendent Kathleen Bodie to set goals for the district at 10:30 a.m.
Parents will take another step to address problems with special education in Arlington today, when they meet with Superintendent Kathleen Bodie to set goals for the district’s current academic year.
The meeting was organized by the Special Education Parents Advisiory Council. It happens today, Thursday, 10:30-11:30 a.m., at the School Committee Room on ’s sixth floor. The meeting is open to all.
The goal, SEPAC officials said, is to set goals for the district that would later be used to evaluate the superintendent.

Parents of children in special education programs at Arlington Public Schools have long complained about several issues, and many say their complaints go astray.
