VCA City Cats Animal Hospital Gets New Vet

Dr. Werlin joins the Arlington animal hospital's team after 13 years in Somerville.

VCA City Cats Animal Hospital in Arlington is pleased to announce the newest addition to their veterinary practice, Dr. Werlin. Prior to joining the team this spring, she was in practice in Somerville for 13 years. She graduated from Cornell’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002 and then spent a year completing an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Colorado State University.

Her professional interests include surgery, pain management, feline medicine, and caring for small mammals, such as guinea pigs, rats, hamsters and rabbits.

"I am very excited to be part of VCA City Cats Animal Hospital as well as the Arlington community. I look forward to sharing my passion for veterinary medicine, especially feline medicine, in a soon to be bigger and better space within the local community," Werlin said.

Dr. Werlin is now accepting new patients at VCA City Cats Animal Hospital. When not treating
patients, she serves as the chair of the Massachusetts chapter of Surfrider Foundation, an ocean
environmental protection group, and enjoys surfing the cold New England waters, skiing, and
cooking. Dr. Werlin lives with her husband, two daughters, and two mischievous cats – Parsnip
and Nutmeg.
