Victim Of Fatal Arlington Fire ID'd
Investigators believe the victim fell asleep while smoking in her bed.

ARLINGTON, MA – Officials have identified the woman killed in an apartment fire in Arlington Saturday night. Margarita Tsugunyan, 76, who lived on the first floor of 20 Osborne St., died in the blaze. Two second-floor residents were displaced.
Investigators believe Tsugunyan fell asleep while smoking in her bed, which may have caused the fire, State Fire Marshal Peter Ostroskey, Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Arlington Fire Chief Robert Jefferson said in a joint statement. Tsugunyan was bedridden in the living room of the apartment, according to the statement.
"So far in 2018, there have been 31 fire deaths, nine in fires started by the improper use of smoking materials," Ostroskey said.
