What's In Store For Arlington This Week

In politics, the Board of Selectmen will meet tonight at 7:30 in the Selectmen's Chambers in Town Hall. The Selectmen will discuss handicapped parking, a new crosswalks and a new grant to help make Arlington Schools more green. The Finance Committee will also meet on Wednesday at 7:30 in the Community Safety building.

This weekend brings a time-honored Arlington tradition: Town Day and Town Night. The festivities start Saturday at 10 a.m. in Arlington Center with craft exhibits, bake sales, and games. Town Night starts at 5 p.m. at Spy Pond Field with rides, games, a dog show, live music and fireworks at dusk. For a full showing of events, click here. 

In sports action, the Arlington High School girl's soccer team will take on Tyngsborough on Tuesday at 4 p.m. at home. On Thursday, the Arlington boys soccer team plays Wesftord Academy at 4 p.m. at home.
