When Does School Start in Arlington?
Here's a look at some important dates on the Arlington Public Schools calendar, and some other helpful back-to-school tips for parents.
ARLINGTON, MA — Parents, you've almost survived the summer. K-12 Students are due back in Arlington schools on Tuesday, Sept. 6, with preschool students returning Sept. 12.

Arlington High School's fall sports tryouts except for Football will take place on Aug. 18. Football tryouts begin on Aug. 19. Elementary students will have an early release on the first day of school, and the first School Committee meeting of the school year will be held on Sept. 8.
