Where does Arlington Rank Among Area School Districts?

ARLINGTON, MA—Niche has released its 2016 rankings for best public school districts across the Boston Metro area, and Arlington is in the mix.

According to Niche’s most recent rankings, Arlington Public Schools was ranked as the 64th best school district in the Boston Metro area. Arlington was also ranked as the 83rd-best school district in the Commonwealth.

The school district received A grades in both academics and educational outcomes. The district also received a grade of A- in academics and extracurriculars. The district received a grade of C- in resources and facilities.

Niche also reports that 82 percent of students in the district are considered proficient in math and/or reading. The rankings are based on statistics, student and parent reviews and expert insights.
