Woburn Man Charged with Driving Under the Influence of Marijuana in Arlington
The 21-year-old man was pulled over Saturday night after running a red light, police said.

A 21-year-old Woburn man was arrested Saturday night in Arlington and charged with operating under the influence of drugs (marijuana), according to police.
An Arlington officer spotted Christopher Sullivan, of Sheila Avenue, run a red light at Medford and Warren streets near Arlington Center at about 10 p.m. and pulled him over, police said.
The officer could smell freshly burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle, and Sullivan appeared to be under the influence of marijuana, according to police. Sullivan refused to participate in field sobriety tests at the scene, police said.

One of Sullivan’s passengers voluntarily turned over a bag of marijuana to police. The passenger was cited for a town bylaw violation, possession of marijuana under an ounce, police said.
Sullivan was also cited for running the red light, according to police.
