Get Started on Holiday Shopping at YMCA Holiday Bazaar

The Newman YMCA is having a holiday bazaar with local vendors and crafters tomorrow.

Local vendors and crafters will be out in force tomorrow at the for the 4th Annual Holiday Bazaar.

More than 20 vendors will be there from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. selling items ranging from custom handbags and jewelry, to original artwork and handmade crafts.

Additionally, the YMCA’s Senior Club will be holding a bake sale alongside the bazaar.

Busy parents who would like to get some shopping done tomorrow are also being welcomed to use the YMCA’s “Drop and Shop” program, where they can drop off their children for a day of fun and games while they go shopping at either the bazaar or anywhere else they might want to go.

The proceeds from the bazaar will go toward the Newman YMCA Financial Assistance Campaign, which supports programs such as Lance Armstrong’s LIVESTRONG, as well as helping local families who are experiencing financial difficulties to benefit from YMCA activities and programs that they would not otherwise have access to.
