Dayspring Christian Academy will sponsor four basketball teams – two girls’ and two boys’ – comprised of school students for the 2012-13 competitive season.
According to Holly Redding, DCA’s physical education teacher and basketball coordinator, team rosters for the coming season are as follows:

Girls’ Middle School – Shriya Skukla, Gabrielle Freeman, Claudia Agustin, Maria Santana, Ava Gomes, Sophia Glennon, Noelani Noel, Gabrielle Granata, Christian Stanford, Sharon Rajadurai and Coach Jeff Motta.

Boys’ Middle School – Joshua Boedeker, Thomas Sheppard, Marcus Moody, Robbie Delvental, Luis Vargas, Jayden Struble, Aidan Murtha, Joseph Noel, Kendall McGhee, Garmodeh Willie, Aidan Ignatius, Seth Fayard, Alex Boedeker, Harold Nash, Jordan Stanford, Joseph Charpentier, Daryl Costa, Samuel Laurent, Jaison Ragnaught, Joshua Gravel and coaches Philip Murtha, Luis Vargas, Todd McGee and Jeremy Bootland.

Boys’ Elementary School – Tyler Nguyen, Paul Ekomwen, Matthew Sanabria, Zachary Guzman, Dylan Rosania, Jeremiah Lavallee, Joel Rosario, Dayus Costa, Vishwas Duggirala, Praise Ekomwen, Peter Guyot, Mathias Hardy, Jacob Gaudreau, Justice Smith, Christian Mayer, Jayvyn Bobola, Tristan Oliveira, Tucker Delvental, Jack Thorn, Vaibhav Duggirala, Caleb DeCastro and Coach Jack Thorn.
According to Redding, DCA’s elementary-school teams will practice weekly and enter a local tournament in early 2013. Both middle-school squads will play independent schedules against local teams and also compete in at least one tournament.
DCA’s girls’ and boys’ middle-school teams are seeking to fill out their games schedules for the coming season. Schools interested in arranging games are asked to contact Redding at the school at 508-761-5552.
