Another Fatal Crash on Route 495
A man was killed in a crash on Route 495 in Franklin Thursday morning. On Wednesday, two were killed in a separate Route 495 crash.
FRANKLIN, MA — A man was killed in crash on Route 495 in Franklin Thursday morning.
The crash happened at about 6 a.m. on the northbound side of the highway near Exit 17.
The man was driving a 1997 Ford pickup truck when he veered off the road and crashed in the woods. The man was the sole occupant, police said. His name was not released.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
It was the second fatal crash on that stretch of Route 495 in recent days. Two were killed in a wrong-way crash in Mansfield Wednesday.
