Apple Store Could Be Headed to Target

may soon be adding mini Apple shops within its stores.

The company is reportedly going to add the store-within-a-store to some of its retail locations, the blog AppleInsider writes. AppleInsider says the mini shops will likely be added to 25 locations to start.

The Seekonk Target already sells several Apple products, including the iPod and iPad. If our location is selected for the roll-out, it would mean the store would offer an expanded selection similar to the Apple shop already located at our local just a few storefronts away. 

AppleInsider says the roll-out will begin in locations that can't support a standalone Apple store. The closest Apple store is currently at the Providence Place mall.
