Atteboro Students Had a Field Day with Friends and Faculty

It was hot, but that didn't stop several schools from having fun, fun, fun!

Several Attleboro schools celebrated the end of the year with a field day. Dayspring Christian Academy students beat the heat with a whole lot of fun this weekend. There were relay races and competitions throughout the morning hours as part of its annual program. Following a lunch of hot dogs and cold drinks, students enjoyed a carnival organized by students.

“It’s a fun day for our students and faculty members and one which they all enjoy immensely,” Dayspring  Christian Academy Administrator Frank Rydwansky said. “Considering how hard they have all worked during the past year, this is a great way to end the school year.”

 “It’s a day for us to unwind from a busy year and just enjoy being with each other,” said Pastor Jeffrey Nichols, GBCA’s principal, in a release. “The ‘Family Picnic’ is a longtime tradition at our school and everyone looks forward to it.

celebrated their own annual field day with several stations of various challenges that included soccer, buddy walker and basketball. They cooled off from their game-playing with water-soaked sponges that they carried in relay races. All Willett students end their field day for a good cause by walking for the Junior Diabetes Research Foundation International's Walk to Cure Diabetes.
