Eagles' four-run third shuts out Attleboro, 4-0.

Kristine Mckee's bases-loaded, three-run double during a four-run third inning propelled the past visiting Attleboro, 4-0 on Monday.

Right-hander Brittany Whiting pitched a complete game five-hitter for the Sharon Eagles (5-3), who won their second straight game. The senior co-captain struck out six and walked two.

"Kristine, she's a powerful hitter. She gets ahold of the ball, she can really hit it hard. She did, thank god," said Liz Landergen, helping to fill in for Sharon head coach Deb Parker, who is expecting a baby.

Attleboro head coach Deb Carreiro said Viau contended with a few errors.

"She held the ball on the outside of the plate. I thought she pitched well," Carreiro said.

Attleboro (1-8) hosts King Philip Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
