Attleboro fire said an air ladder was used to rescue a man without injury, while three firefighters were injured, on South Main Street.
ATTLEBORO, MA — A man was rescued from a second-floor window during an early morning fire on South Main Street. Attleboro Fire Chief Scott Lachance said an aerial ladder was used to rescue the man without injury in the three-alarm blaze.
Three firefighters were taken to Sturdy Memorial Hospital with non-lifethreatening injuries, with two released earlier Thursday morning and one recovering at the hospital, according to Lachance.
Lachance said firefighters responded to find heavy smoke at the home where a man was waving his arms out of a second floor window. The lone person in the house was helped from the home using the ladder.
