Pedestrian Struck And Killed By Train At Attleboro's South Main Street Station
The Attleboro and Amtrak police are among the agencies investigating the fatality, according to the fire department.
ATTLEBORO, MA — A Pedestrian was struck and killed by a train at South Main Street Station in Attleboro Tuesday afternoon.
Attleboro firefighters "responded to a fatal train crash involving a pedestrian" shortly before 3 p.m., the department said in a media release.
"Upon arrival, firefighters located an individual who was struck by a train on the inbound side," the post said. "The person was determined to be dead."

All tracks at the station were closed after the pedestrian was hit.
The Amtrak Police Department and Attleboro Police Department were among the agencies investigating the matter.
