Attleboro High School Students and Teachers to Bring Variety to the Stage

Attleboro High School students and teachers will see a surprise performance from a group of teachers.

Those attending the Best of Variety Show Wednesday night will be in for a surprise as a few of the teachers have organized a special performance of their own as part of the show.

staff are keeping quiet on which teachers are involved and what they will be performing. It is a secret, but will certainly be an opportunity for students to see a side of their teachers they have yet to see as some teachers will show off their outside-of-the-classroom talents.

The students will get a chance to show off their various talents too. Student performances will make up the rest of the approximately 20 acts, which will feature dancing, singing and student bands.

Last year's acts included a performance by student Ryan Kheng "C-Walking" which is a form of hip-hop dancing.

While that may be the expected fair, there may be a few acts of a more unusual variety, according to Attleboro High School Events Coordinator, Colleen Nestlen.

“Occasionally you’ll get some strange performances,” Nestlen said.

This is the 6th year for the show and based on the turnout form previous years, Nestlen expects approximately 400 students to attend Wednesday.

The event serves as a fundraiser for both the junior and senior classes, who will spilt ticket sales.

Tickets for the event, being held in Bray Auditorium, are $5. The Variety Show begins at 7 p.m.
