Runey added on Twitter, “Thoughts & prayers of AHS Community go out to the Hutcheon family during this time of loss. We will make Chris proud by honoring his memory with our strength & support for his family. Hug your loved ones tonight.”

Hutcheon was one of four people in a vehicle last Saturday that swerved off of the highway, hit a tree, and split into two. According to the Massachusetts State Police, the vehicle had spun around several times before leaving the roadway and striking a tree. The force of the impact severed the vehicle in half between the engine and the passenger compartments. The four teenage occupants of the vehicle were wearing seat belts and were not ejected from the wreck.

The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Massachusetts State Police.
