Attleboro Whiz Kid: Caleb Williams
Young Attleboro player displays the true essence of teamwork.
For the love of soccer, Attleboro's Caleb Williams keeps his eye on the ball.

Since beginning to walk, Caleb has had a soccer ball at his feet. His years growing up have been spent kicking the ball with his dad, viewing professional soccer on TV and intently watching his two older brothers play his beloved sport of soccer. He soaks in all he can and does his best to put what he has learned to good use out on the field.
It’s not unusual to find Caleb up and dressed, shin pads and all, at 5 a.m. on a Saturday morning for a 3 p.m. game. Soccer is his passion. He is consistently ready and willing to be a guest player for other teams. In his down-time, he enjoys helping his 3-year-old cousin learn to kick.

As a strong midfielder who is talented with both his left and right feet, Caleb is a play-maker. Distributing the ball to just the right spot for another player to make the shot is one of his favorite parts of the game. He is all about the team as a whole winning the game. This true essence of teamwork makes Caleb shine all the more, not only for scoring but for letting others shine as well.
Caleb’s BAYS and Explosion FC coach, David Medeiros, has watched Caleb grow into a player who is full of spirit and drive. “I know that when I put Caleb out on the field that he will make things happen for his team. He has a great awareness on the field. He knows where to be and where to put the ball so that his teammates are successful.”
